HOW DOES IT WORK?
DST’s patented technology uses self-calibrating ultrasound technology to gather and analyze equipment. It allows real-time equipment analytics by capturing sound energy and sound signature samples. These scans allow for a highly accurate assessment of each component to predict potential future equipment failure within seconds of the scan.
With the DST scanner, our customers have no downtime since your Cox-Powell technicians can scan your equipment while running. You will be able to see a real-time view of what your equipment is doing, with each reading being time and date stamped so you can monitor the history of your equipment. The machine life expectancy reports and trend analysis assist in capital asset repair or replacement decisions.
HOW DO YOU SCAN OUR EQUIPMENT?
Some sensors will be installed on critical areas of your equipment, allowing our technicians to use the ultrasound scanner to get accurate results. These sensors prevent any further contact with your equipment.
After we install the sensors, we will provide you with a custom tasking sheet of every preventative or check-in scan. The task sheet will ensure that Cox-Powell HVAC technicians perform every scheduled maintenance work. Scanning during preventive care appointments will prevent unexpected service calls and breakdowns while allowing our technicians to document and organize photos better.
